End Game

Hello All!

I have only played the game through once and I recall it ending at the year 2000.
1- Is this still the case?
2- Can this be modded?
3- Please can you make the game open-ended?

1) 2020 to be exact
2) No
3) After I create Random History/Events it will open the possibility for me to change it. (I will have to rewrite a few formulas.) It is on the roadmap, near the back pages. So It will be done before we get out of Early Access. It won't be completely open ended, but year 2100 would be possible.
