Steam says Gear City is running it is not

I played Gear City a few hours and enjoyed it. But it crashed a few times. I had multiple dialogs open at the time. I set it aside and came back today to play and it won't load. Steam says its already running but it isn't and I have no way of telling steam it isn't really running. Steam has me playing for 37 hours yet I have only played a few hours. I am on a Window 10 PC it ran fine when it was up yesterday.

Reboot the machine. Steam sometimes can lock a process internally. I've had it happen to my Linux machine a few times.

As for the crashing, please send me the log file after the next time you crash. Most of the time I can fix the issues for you.

To get the log files:
Right click the game in Steam.
Select Properties
Select the Local Files tab.
Then click the Browse Local Files button.
Open the GearCity folder,
The file name is Logfile.log and my email address is admin@ventdev.com
