[FIXED]Calculation of Overal stats
#1
Hello,

In 1900 i designed a cheap Sedan. It was using low grade parts from my microcar design.

To be exactly:

- Very small chassis (smallest size possible)
- Very small engine (only 247 cc)
- Very crapy gearbox

Now it is 1907 and it is time to redo my sedan. I started designing a new chassis and Engine. After some months i have designed a very nice chassis and engine.

I tried 3 different set ups, only changing my parts, sliders are the same:

1st: Same crappy parts as my 1900 design. Unit cost: 965, overal stats: 22 Top speed: 81 KM/H Weight: 333 KG
2st: I pick my new chassis (has a rating of 35 instead of 19). Unit cost increase to 1154, overal stats 23. Top speed: 81 KM/H Weight 444 KG
3rd: I pick new chassis and new 48 HP V2 engine: Unit cost increase to 1512, overal stts: 22. Top speed: 62 KM/H (!) Weight 811 KG

My old chassis: Weight: 65, new chassis: 172
My old engine: Weight: 30 kg / 10 HP, new Engine: 199 kg / 48 HP.

In my opinion my 2nd car should have been slower in comparrison to my 1st design because increased chassis weight. However my 3rd design should be a lot faster then my 1st and 2nd design.

Also, i do not understand how frame dimensions are having a effect on car stats. My old chassis war very tiny ( L 1670 X W 1090). My new chassis is a lot bigger: L 2650 X W 1380. I'm guessing having a larger chassis should increase comfortability/luxery and cargo stats on a sedan.

Short summary: Using more advanced components in my designs are not improving my design. Also i notice in design screen performance is only 1 star on all 3 designs. However "Power" is being rated 48 on my 3rd design in overall stats.

Save game/screens of stats in attachment.
