Looks like it may be the same issue that is causing the assisted engine designer to crash.
If you could send me the save file that will help greatly.
To get the save game:
Right click the game in Steam.
Select Properties
Select the Local Files tab.
Then click the Browse Local Files button.
Open the GearCity folder, then the save game folder
You can either zip up the file then upload onto here, or you can email it to me. My email address is admin@ventdev.com
