GearCity Open Beta 1.09
#1
Well it has been almost two months since the last beta release. I'm pleased to announce that 1.09 is completed and ready for launch.
You can find full release and patches here: http://www.gearcity.info/beta.html

1.09 mainly focused on scripting errors, the bugs you've submitted, game-play balancing, and stabilization issues.

I'm happy to report that nearly every bug submitted has been fixed and the recent stabilization efforts have resulted into a 400% decrease in turn times (on my machine), and 200mb reduction in ram usage.

Gameplay and scripting still have some tweaks to go through but there has been great gains in both of these areas as well.

In 1.10 I will be focusing on your suggestions that have been posted in the Beta Suggestion forums. Hopefully I can get them all knocked out by the end of November! Wink

As always discussion of this build can be found here: http://www.ventdev.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=856
