Im fine with it the way it is.

Currently, you can discontinue a line which stops it being produced in any factory.
Then you continue distribution to sell any remaining vehicles in reserve.
After this, you press "stop selling" in the mega menu and it ceases all distribution and marketing.

I have no problem with a discontinued line still being marketed until all its reserves are gone.

The mega menu is the brown/black abacus thingy directly under the globe and to the left of the safe.

In the last version 1.11, it changed in format somewhat.
To access those buttons you have to click "Auto commands" on the top left of the mega menu once it opens.

When you remove a vehicle from a branch it will automatically remove them from marketing.

Thus this feature has been implemented in a way.
