simplified engine sizes
#1
Hey just completed 119 hours of gear city game time!
just one thing though,
why is there no simple way of creating an engine?
such as a quick action button that would let you build anything ftom a 1.1 litre to a 3.2 litre
v8 ?
i think it would be much easier for non engineering minded people.
Just a thought. Look forward to your thoughts on this

Could be a feature for the assisted designer?

Good idea.
i enjoy building the contract engines , but for normal cars it would be
much easier to have a sekection to choose from

If you want a list of pre-designed engines to choose from, go the the licences.
They are over priced atm and there's no way of filtering it yet but it is on the list of things to be re-written for 1.18.
Try it out and if you have any ideas for improving it, I've already started a suggestion thread which you'r welcome to add too.

The new assisted designer allows you to select sub-components then use the 3 sliders to adjust size.

So you would just select V, 8, and then adjust the size slider.

For an added bonus the game will make sure the engine will fit in your largest chassis. Or you can select a chassis from your list and it will automatically fit it to that chassis.
