We have Straight, V's, Flat, W's, H's etc...
But no opposed piston engines!
Mainly used in heavy applications, ie. trucks, planes, boats rarther than motor vehicles.
For stat wise: (Without really looking into comparisons to other engines)
+ Narrow
+ Efficient
+ High Power
- Rough
- Long
