When the memos got cleaned up, it seems a useful one went out with the water.
The game no longer stops funding of finished racing series. And the memo doesnt show up anymore.
And i you forget to do it yourself in desember, you end up funding defunkded series.
Ex. 1900 Summer Olumpics. If you forget to stop the funding in Dec. 1900, you will keep funding it for the rest of the game. Unless you edit the savegame yourself.
Edit: Latest version, latest patch. But i do believe this happend some time ago.
