Please see the difference in performance on the screenshot below.
The difference between is caused only by touching the "Style slider" and naming the trim.
(I am not able to get the performance back, by adjusting the slider).

Maybe it's not only because I make crappy designs!

Hmmm, I'll look into it
(My only thought would be that the year effects it, things get better over time)

The screenshots are made in the same instance (first one taken after "Design Body" was pressed, the second one after everything else was pressed, trim named and slider touched.

With the new rating system this should not be a problem anymore as 60% of the performance stats now directly come from the specs. Marking this thread fixed as of 1.17.5
