Did a search for this, didn't find it.
Ive noticed for several versions, that the figure listed as the amount you will gain when you IPO is not accurate.
Like other IPO features, im likely not aware of how it works in reality, but for a player ignorant of the process like myself, it is confusing.
Simple example you can try yourself.
Start a game in 1900, go to IPO screen.
It probably says youll get 1mil, press the IPO button.
You'll probably get 500-700k.
