Description: This bounty assigns a popularity value to Automatic and Manual transmission types. The popularity will be on a regional or sub-regional level, depending on the map and if the community funded the sub-regions bounty.
The Gearbox's popularity will affect vehicle purchasing, similar to fuel and vehicle popularity.

Concerns: When you boil it down, there are only two shifting types for gearboxes, Automatics and Manuals. That doesn't make for very much of a table option.
Eric's Opinion: Manual transmissions quickly fell out of favor in the United States, whereas they have hanged on in a few other regions globally. This is not reflected very well in the game. So this bounty fixes that.
