Price: $1000
Description: This bounty sells some equity of your company to an investor. This will limit the funds you can generate via an IPO, and the investor can force you to IPO at any time.
Venture investments are only available to companies without factories and branches.
Requirements: None
Required By: #205
Concerns: We need to make venture investment funds a viable option for the game start when players are in research mode, but we need to make them not too strong that it breaks the game's difficulty.
Ideally, they should only be useful for start-up research in 1800-1899, and maybe if you want to try to make a car on your own via nightmare mode.
We may need more restrictions than just reducing IPO gains and having the investor IPO the company prematurely.
Eric's Opinion: I would love to keep the game extremely difficult at the start, to mimic the real world. Venture investments might break that difficult in exchange for making the first quarter of the game more difficult. This bounty would reduce what players can get out of IPO when they successfully got their company running. It's a double-edged sword. Anyway, if we can strike the right balance, it can be usable for <1900 starts and nightmare mode but not reduce difficulty substantially. And if it is overkill, we can always disable it with the difficulty selections.

"great writers are indecent people, they live unfairly, saving the best part for paper.
good human beings save the world, so that bastards like me can keep creating art, become immortal.
if you read this after I am dead it means I made it." ― Charles Bukowski
