Status Update:

For breakfast I integrated the office artwork from 1930 to 1950
For lunch I fixed a bug in the gearbox rating system.
For dinner I integrated the office artwork from 1950 to 1968
And for my midnight snack I finished adding all the remaining office artwork Smile

Up next are all the safe designs!

All the safe artwork has been added to the game.

The 1980s and 2020 city data needs to be tweaked. So I will work on this. It will probably take me two days to knock out.

After that I re-enable 1930, 1950, and 1980 start dates, start the balancing process and add all the cars to the game!

Fixed a few issues with the city data files. Game can now be started in 1930, 1950, and 1980 with the correct graphics and city data.

Late game car models have had some quality issues. So I've taken the last few days to clean them up. It'll take probably another week to finish them.

As of right now I've got 31 cars out of 166 finished.

Forgive me if I'm out of line here but......
It looks like 1.14 is still quite some time off. Is there any chance you could put out a hot fix to the game zeroing out marketing expenditure? I can play around all of the other bugs in the current build but if I can't advertise my cars I can't sell them.

Again, sorry if I'm out of line but I've stopped playing because of this one bug and I miss the game LOL

It's not out of place, however I am on a slight deadline with the art. I have to get the late game artwork finished so that I can tell Mrx_UA what is missing so that he may have time to finish it by the launch date.

So as such I can not touch code until it's all in the game.

So you probably won't get a hot patch anytime soon. And if you wait that long, might as well wait a little longer. Tongue

Once the artwork is in place, things should roll a little faster since there are not many bugs reported. I might be able to update the open beta once before the 1.14. Tongue

Yeah, fair enough.
Probably no point in a hot fix if you can't do it until the next patch is close to ready.
Might as well just keep soldiering on!
Keep up the good work!
Do you know what price the game will be up for on steam? Just so I can make sure I save the cash so I can buy on launch day =)

36 more late model vehicles left to fix. Next phase is getting them into the game. After that I will hit the bug lists. I may make an Open Beta 1.14 RC build to make sure that the bugs are fixed....

Late game models have been fixed, I will begin integrating them into the game as well as prepping the accessories to be integrated as well.

There are a number of missing models from the late game. Hopefully mrx_ua will knock out most of them before 1.14! Although if we can't get them filled in time, we'll use fillers...

Anyhoo we're on track. So that's good news.

Getting my wife to download the beta now, so with any luck when it's released I'll be buying 2 copies!

I foresee a strained marriage if I ever get around to producing the multiplayer expansion. ^,~

We've done a few online games together... World of Warcraft, Farming Simulator, if anything it's always better having an ally. Especially here, where one can be on 1 continent, the other on another and we can more or less scout or something. She played it last night, she is really getting into it! She doesn't have as much knowledge as I do about cars, but all she has to do is ask. Since I actually finally got past 1902 and into 1903, I've been playing just about anytime I'm not sleeping.

Ally? In this game? Just wait till she jumps into your market and undercuts your prices! Tongue

I'm glad the both of you are enjoying it. Smile
