Power vs. Performance
#1
While I love cars there are a lot of basic things I don't have much insight into (Read: I'm a noob.) Like the difference between power and performance. When creating a sports car, my hunch is that both power and performance is important, while for a lorry, the power one is the important one of the two.

What do these two terms mean in the context of this game?

P.S. Did a quick search on the forum but I did not easily find an answer to this. More correctly, I was too lazy to dig through each and every one of the matching hits.

P.P.S. I'm loving the View Prototype Design window. Very informative, and the refresh button is just great.

1) Power is mostly a rating for torque and traction (Towing weights)

2) Performance is acceleration, top speed, handling, shifting speed. So a combination of hp, aero, chassis design, and gearbox performance.

PS1) No worries, I don't mind questions.

PS2) I'm glad it's useful!

PS, Question mark boxes will hopefully give you this information for 1.18

good human beings save the world, so that bastards like me can keep creating art, become immortal.
