new version downloaded yesterday , now game crashes on start-up

new version downloaded on my computer yesterday.
now the game crashes on start-up.
anyone can help?

A couple of people have had issues with Steam incorrectly installing files. Try uninstalling the game then reinstalling it.

If that does not work let me know and we'll go from there. Include your log file in an attachment here.

You completely deleted the game from your computer before reinstalling?

Upload or email me the logfile after it crashes and I will take a look at it.

Windows/Linux
To get the log files:
Right click the game in Steam.
Select Properties
Select the Local Files tab.
Then click the Browse Local Files button.
Open the GearCity folder,
The file name is Logfile.log and my email address is admin@ventdev.com

OS X:
Right click the game in Steam.
Select Properties
Select the Local Files tab.
Then click the Browse Local Files button.
Right Click the GearCity.app (Might be named just GearCity)
Select Show Package Contents
Contents folder, Resources folder, GearCity folder,
The file name is Logfile.log and my email address is admin@ventdev.com

Just un-installed and installed again.
now working ! Lol lol.
am slowly getting to realise steam is going downhill lately.
