Stock dividends |

I saw that the stock system is up for major overhaul. And I was wondering if you have thought about including dividends in it?
A rudimentary system for cash dividends could be a cool addition to stock system.
It would make saving in stocks more interesting. And also the "need" to give away some of your profits to the shareholders would make an IPO and sales of stock, less of a free cash handout.

Engine Design, Performance vs Revolutions slider |

Currently in almost all my engine creations, some some race engines or challenging contract engines aside, I put the performance slider always fully to the right, as the revolution sliders seems to do give more power cheaper, while at the same time having less of a negative effect on fuel consumption and durability. Is this WAD?
My intuition would say performance should have stronger effect, perhaps also increase torque and reduce weight, while revolutions should have a bigger effect on durability than it currently does.

Logo's for a new marque |

When I start my company, there's a decent sized list of logo's to choose from. However, if I launch a new marque, suddenly there are only 4. Why? I hoped I could start a commercial vehicle division with the same logo. I should have gone for the bunnies, it was a coin toss when I started this save...

Deleting models |

So I made a few design mistakes- wrong engine for the wrong car and so forth- hit build and there it was. I'd love it if it would be possible to erase a model permanently from the list and not only stop producing- the lists become really engorged after some time. Also- the Gear City Mag 'Display Marquee' should probably display only the current models IMHO.

The AI should have more diverse strategies |

In my current game I'm now in 1924, I've worldwide market share of above 40%, and all time marketshare of 35%. I build hyper luxery vehicles that cost between 4000 and 7000 to build and I sell between 12000 and 24000, I only sell a few hundred of every vehicle each but they are good for 75% of my 75 million revenue a month. Than I sell vehicles that costs between 500 and 1000 to produce under the AGS brand, they sell insane number, but I only make a few hundred on each model.
Besides one or two companies all of the AI companies lose money. They all seem to make luxery sedans that cost more to make than my AGS ones, but are worse or at most just slightly better. None of the AI companies sell any competitors in terms of quality for my main brand, so every one who can afford those buys them.
I think the AI should have a more diverse strategy. There should at least be a few companies who should try to compete on quality instead of price. Also, their engines are much more expensive than the ones I put in my AGS vehicles, but they perform less and are heavier.
I really like this game, but it would be even more fun if the AI would offer some challenge, with at least a few companies that tried something different than selling an affordable car for the middle class. Since I figured out the AI doesn't build for the wealthy the game is too easy.

Easy Exploits |

So I've played the game for a bit, and I actually quite enjoyed. By accident I stumbled on two very exploitable game mechanisms though.
1. Design vehicle with all slider to 0. It will be done next month but will be crap. Design new trim, put the slider where you actually want it and it will be done in 1 or 2 months. Not only does it saves months of development time, if you plan on a high performence or very luxery vehicle, it will saves you tons in development costs as well. If you plan a economical model, the costs of the additional trim development is still much less than you'll make by being able to put it on the market earlier.
2. Buying out companies on the stock market is way to easy cheap and gives exponential growth. Usually you end up with more money than you have before the buyout because the AI loves fat bank accounts. Sometimes you end up with a little less, but if you consider you can sell off their stocks at dump prices and than later sell off the mark, you're guaranteed to have more than your investment back within a month. Add to that you don't have invest in building factories yourself, sometimes even end up with some actually good cars or component in your catalog and you end up without competition and it's a guaranteed win.

Size sliders effecting power output |

I've recently noticed that the size slider (length and width) both have an inverse effect on your engines power output.
By that I mean that making an engine bigger and bulkier for the same volume it gets more powerful.
Is this intended?
It seems backwards to me.
I mean, if you use big components to make your engine it stands to reason it's going to use more energy internally moving those heavy parts and it's going to rev slower so it should make less power. But if you made the engine more compact then you use lighter innards that move more freely thus your engine revs harder and makes more power.
